Program Details

All scouts attending summer camp should now decide which merit badges or other programs they would like to participate in.  Scouts and parents may review the information via the links below. Each scout should complete a Merit Badge/Activity Signup Form and return it to Mr. Lipton as soon as possible but no later than May 27. Alternatively, scouts may email this information directly to Mr. Lipton.

All Webelos crossover scouts will do the Dan Beard program to help them quickly fulfill many requirements for ranks up to First Class as well as gain experience with patrol camping and activities. This program includes the Swimming and Mammal Study merit badges.

It is recommended that all other scouts select a minimum of 3 to 4 merit badges to complete during their week at camp.  Please note that many of the merit badges have prerequisites that must be completed BEFORE the scouts arrives at camp.  Scouts need to check the prerequisite requirements before signing up for any merit badge.  A list of badges with prerequisites can be viewed via the link below.

In addition to merit badges, Ockanickon offers a wide variety of other program activities, many directed toward older scouts.  Please take the time to see what is available by accessing the links below.
