Thursday, November 20, Discussion and
demonstration regarding camping and hiking gear by knowledgeable
troop members. This is the time to get your questions about
equipment answered.
Outdoor Leader Training - Saturday,
November 29, 2008, 3-7 PM at Crossings Community Church, Lower
Silver Lake Rd, Newtown, PA; All the skills necessary for the
Outdoor Leader Trained Card will be demonstrated and taught
during the session. If you complete all the stations you will

Assistant Scoutmaster Training for Registered Asst.
Scoutmasters 18-25 years of age -
Saturday, November 29, 2008, 9AM - 3PM at Crossings Community
Church, Lower Silver Lake Rd, Newtown, PA; Cost $5 for the day -
lunch included. You will need your Scoutmaster Handbook ($12 can
be ordered when you register) and Youth Protection Training

Popcorn and magazine sales
- November 6 was the last day to turn in
orders, including payment and prize selection; Scouts who have
chosen not to sell can make their $50 contribution at this time.
November 22 is popcorn distribution. Check with Mike Gordon
for details.
Genealogy Merit Badge
- Saturday, March 21, 2009, 1-4PM at The Church of Jesus Christ
of the Latter-day Saints, Morrisville Ward, 1204 Pine Grove Rd,
Morrisville, PA 19067. During an open house at the Morrisville
Family History Center you will be able to fulfill many of the
merit badge requirements. Boy Scout Genealogy Merit Badge
Counselors and professional genealogists will be present to

No scout should be unable to participate
in the troop activities due to financial issues. There is
funding available for dues, camp fees or equipment. Please see
